Route & Schedule Support

Help choosing the right ferry route, sailing window, and port combination for your cargo.

Getting cargo to an island or across a stretch of water often has more than one answer. Different ports, different types of vessel and different sailing days each change the cost, the timing and the truck legs on either side.

Route and schedule support is our help with that choice. Tell us where the cargo starts, where it needs to be and by when, and we review the routes and sailings that could work.

Choosing a port pair

The nearest port isn't always the best one. A port a little farther away may have more frequent sailings, the right type of vessel for your cargo or easier truck access. We compare the options, including the road legs, rather than the sea leg alone.

The type of vessel matters too. A ferry, a RoRo ship and a barge each take different cargo, sail on different patterns and price differently, so the best port pair for a trailer may not be the best one for a crate or a piece of machinery.

Planning around sailings

Every sailing has a cut-off for cargo to arrive at the terminal, and missing it moves the cargo to a later sailing. Weather can delay sailings too, so leave room in the plan when a delivery date matters.

Space is tighter in each corridor's busy season. If you know your dates early, tell us early; it keeps more options open.

When plans change

If the cargo isn't ready or the dates move, tell us as soon as you know. What can be changed, and at what cost, depends on the carrier's rules for that booking, and we tell you what applies.

How a quote request works

  1. Step 1: Send the details

Origin and destination, what the cargo is, its dimensions and weight, and your sailing window.

  2. Step 2: We review the options

We check which ferry, RoRo or barge services and port pairs fit your cargo and dates.

  3. Step 3: You get a quote

The quote lists the sailing options and what each one includes.

  4. Step 4: We arrange the booking

We book the option you choose with the carrier and tell you which documents it needs.

Questions

Yes. We compare port pairs, including the truck legs on each side, and point out when another port works better for your cargo.

It usually moves to a later sailing. What that costs depends on the carrier's rules for the booking.
