Coastal corridor
California Coast to Hawaii Freight
Vehicles, wheeled equipment and commercial cargo from California to Hawaii on RoRo and container liner services.
Service type: RoRo and container liner (no ferry)
There is no ferry between the mainland and Hawaii. Freight crosses on scheduled ocean liner services: vehicles and wheeled cargo usually travel RoRo, driven or towed on and off the ship, and general freight travels in containers.
We quote vehicles, trailers, wheeled equipment and commercial cargo from California to the islands and back. If the cargo starts away from the port, we can quote the truck leg to it as well.
Reaching an island other than the one the ship calls at can mean a second, inter-island leg. Name the final island in your request so the review covers the whole trip.
Ports, sailings and transit

Questions
No. Freight to Hawaii travels on ocean liner services: RoRo for vehicles and wheeled cargo, containers for general freight.
No. Hawaii is a U.S. state, so freight from the mainland is domestic. Hawaii's agricultural rules still apply to some items.
Tell us the final island. Reaching it may take an inter-island leg, and we include that in the review.
